Eligibility Criteria

Your application will be subject to our selection process, where we look at several criteria about the organisation:

  • Demonstrating innovative solutions and approaches to addressing climate change
  • Employing inclusive and participatory methods in community engagement.
  • Maintaining sound financial practices and demonstrates transparency in financial reporting.
  • There is clear identification of areas needing capacity building and organisational improvement.
  • The organisation shows willingness to engage in training and development activities.
  • The organisation has strong community ties and involves local stakeholders in their work.
  • Mechanisms are in place for incorporating community feedback into program design and implementation.
  • The selected organisation should be a deserving organisation that does not have multiple funding sources and is joining the program primarily for the additional funding support.
  • The organisation is selected based on the quality and impact of their work, rather than the size of their monetary resources.
  • The organisation demonstrates a gender focus of at least 50% women in their programs, team composition, and leadership.
