Founder and CEO

Satyam Vyas is a visionary social entrepreneur and the founder of Climate Asia, a fresh wave of energy in Asia’s climate ecosystem dedicated to driving substantial and meaningful change across the region. With an unwavering commitment to the intersection of people, planet, and purpose, Satyam’s leadership is marked by his innovative approach to climate action, gender equality, and leveraging technology for societal benefits. Under his guidance, Climate Asia has become an influential force in climate advocacy and education, successfully expanding its network to include over 100,000+ individuals and organisations spanning international funders, corporate social responsibility initiatives, NGOs, and other climate-focused entities.

Anchal Kakkar

Co-Lead, EquiLead 

Anchal Kakkar drives strategic initiatives and fosters high-impact partnerships across the organisation. Currently, she spearheads EquiLead, an initiative dedicated to advancing gender equity and leadership. Prior to Climate Asia, Anchal honed her expertise at the Boston Consulting Group and Dasra. She holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, is a Shell Foundation/Impact Business Leaders Fellow, and is a seasoned Chartered Accountant by profession.

Aiswarya Ananthanpadmanabhan

Senior Lead, EquiLead

Aiswarya is Senior Advisor to the EquiLead Initiative associated with the Women in Climate Action endeavour by Climate Asia. A former journalist with the Indian Express, Aiswarya transitioned to the climate sector over a decade ago and has worked with international grantmaking foundations in communication and program management roles. Previously, she led the Strategic Partnerships team at EdelGive Foundation.

Koushik Yanamandram

Advisor – Accelerator

Koushik is responsible for designing and implementing organisational development initiatives and accelerator programmes that enable direct and indirect climate actors and organisations from across the spectrum in various sectors to transition to a massive change in the fundamental functioning of their operations to fight climate change.

Meghana Rao

Advisor – Gender, EquiLead

Meghana Rao is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of dedicated service in the non-profit sector. Throughout her career, she has assumed senior roles spanning philanthropy, grant-making, project and program management, and movement building. Meghana’s expertise lies in Gender Justice programming, where she has led the design and implementation of multi-site, complex programs aimed at fostering gender equality. Her involvement in Youth movement building has been instrumental in amplifying local voices and campaigns, driving impactful change. With a notable stint in Philanthropy and Grantmaking within India’s largest philanthropic organization, Meghana has demonstrated a deep commitment to social justice causes. She brings meticulous attention to detail, particularly in upholding principles of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, drawing from her extensive experience in Gender justice work.

Meiyun Seleyi

Consultant – Global Operations

Meiyun comes with 7+ years of experience specialising in partnerships, investor relations & project management. She leads global operations and partnerships across the Global South for Climate Asia which includes overseeing compliance, ensuring quality assurance, stakeholder management and program management.

Nidhi Tewari

Assistant Manager-Research, EquiLead

Nidhi Tewari is an Assistant Manager, Research at EquiLead. An Economist by training, she works at the intersections of climate, gender and sustainable economic development. She has worked with prominent organizations such as Oxfam, the Indian Council for Social Science Research, and the National Commission for Women. As a passionate researcher, she is strongly dedicated to employing a multidisciplinary approach to generate impactful solutions.

Purnima Tandon

Manager, Strategic Communications

Purnima leads the communications vertical at Climate Asia. She has actively contributed to the designing of events, content creation, executed engaging panel discussions, and crafted concept notes to drive meaningful dialogues. She leads public relations and social media promotions for organisation-wide summits and conferences, amplifying the reach and influence.

Raisha Galib

Accelerator Design Specialist

Raisha leads the design and delivery of various capacity-building programs and manages the monitoring and evaluation, program management, and donor reporting aspects of these programs and is an Accelerator Design Specialist for the EquiLead Initiative, associated with the Women in Climate Action endeavour by Climate Asia.

Swati Sharma

Advisor, Strategy and New Product Initiatives

Swati spearheads strategic and product innovation, driving transformative solutions and advancing sustainability at Climate Asia. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s vision, aligning strategy with impactful, long-term objectives. Prior to Climate Asia, Swati successfully spearheaded high-impact strategic and digital expansion initiatives within the consulting and banking sectors. Her experience spans across landscape analysis, enhancing customer engagement, driving substantial revenue growth, and optimizing go-to-market strategies. Swati holds an MBA in Strategy and Leadership from the Indian School of Business, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NSIT, Delhi.
