Our Mission
To accelerate locally led climate action across Asia: equipping the organisations, leaders and systems closest to the frontline with the capacity, capital and connections to deliver at scale.
Our Vision
A climate response in Asia that is built, led and sustained by the people closest to it.

Climate Asia was founded in 2023 on a simple conviction: Asia is both the region most exposed to climate shocks and the region with the largest reservoir of solutions already in motion. What was missing was the architecture to connect the two.
We work with frontline civil society organisations, philanthropic funders, technical experts and government partners to build that architecture — translating proven local solutions into systems-level change, and moving capital toward the organisations with the capability to deliver.
Our work spans three connected pillars: strengthening climate resilience among frontline CSOs, building the workforce that Asia's clean energy transition depends on, and advancing women's leadership in climate through EquiLead. Across all three, we operate as a strategic partner: co-designing, convening, and staying with the work until outcomes hold.
01
The communities closest to climate shocks have the clearest read on what works. We design with — not for — local CSOs, and treat their judgement as data, not anecdote.
02
Women make the majority of household energy decisions and anchor agricultural systems across Asia. Programs that ignore them under-deliver. Through EquiLead we embed gender into climate program design — not as an add-on, but as core architecture.
03
Climate finance fails when the pipeline between funders and frontline organisations is broken. We work both sides of that gap — strengthening CSOs to be fundable and helping funders deploy capital where it actually moves outcomes.
04
Knowledge stuck in silos is wasted knowledge. We build the backbone — conferences, networks, evidence packs, secretariats — that lets the ecosystem learn faster and collaborate across organisational lines.
05
Anticipating shocks, absorbing impact, recovering faster, and transforming the conditions that create vulnerability — that work doesn't end on a funding cycle. We back the leaders and organisations already doing it, and stay long enough for the work to compound.
